About this scene
Big-box store aisle, weekday late morning. She is a mature woman, sixties, in a cardigan, with a small basket. She turns the corner of the aisle and the flash is at her line of sight. She says Jesus out loud once, audible. She says it again, quieter, to herself. Then she picks up the product she came for and continues with her shopping. The whole reaction sequence is contained in about ten seconds.
What to watch for
The two-stage Jesus is the comedic structure. The first one is involuntary and loud. The second one is the recognition that the first one was loud. She is correcting her volume but not her response. After both Jesus mentions she goes back to her shopping with no other reaction. Her cart accumulates the next several items at her normal pace. The clip ends with her at the register and there is no mention of what happened. The product she came for is in the cart, where it belongs.
