About this scene
Mall corridor, hallway between two main concourses. She's walking the corridor toward him, not slowing, not making eye contact. As they pass each other in the narrow space her hip brushes the BBC area on purpose. She does not stop. She does not turn. She says sorry without looking at him and keeps walking. The whole contact is one second. Then she's down the corridor and gone.
What to watch for
The sorry without eye contact is the tell. A real accidental brush would either stop and apologize or just keep walking silently. She splits the difference. The verbal apology with no head turn is what an actor does, not what a real surprise does. Watch her hip angle in the side view. There is no way to walk past someone with that much clearance and brush them by accident. She lined it up. She held her speed. The encounter is technically clean.
