Mall clothing rack section, weekday afternoon. She's busty, twenties, in a fitted top, browsing a circular rack of dresses. He flashes from behind the rack. She turns around once, registers it, walks two steps back toward him with her hand already extended halfway. Mid-reach she catches herself, pulls the hand back, and goes back to the dresses. The whole sequence is under five seconds. She does not turn around again for the rest of the clip.
What to watch for
The aborted reach is the entire clip. Her hand gets within twelve inches before her brain catches up. The pull-back is fast and her face goes flat immediately. She returns to the dresses and starts pulling hangers like nothing happened, but her shopping pace is now twice as fast as it was. She is trying to look busy. The clip ends with her at the register holding a dress she clearly didn't actually evaluate.
