About this scene

Pharmacy, weekday morning, sparse counter line. She's an older lady, sixties, picking up a refill. She finishes at the counter, takes her bag, and turns toward the register exit. As she pivots she nearly walks into the flash four feet ahead of her. Her body stops. Her face freezes. She does not say anything. She does not move for almost ten seconds. Eventually she walks around him at half speed without breaking eye contact with the floor.

What to watch for

The freeze is the central event. She does not gasp, scream, or look away. She simply stops moving. The pause is long enough to become uncomfortable, and she does not break it on her own. She breaks it only when another customer behind her clears their throat. Then she walks around him with her eyes on the linoleum, picks up speed near the door, and you can see her hand briefly press to her chest as she exits.
