Department store accessories section, late morning. She's a blonde in a fitted dress, walking past at normal pace. She walks the full length of the aisle, then ten feet past the end she stops, pivots cleanly on the spot, and walks all the way back the way she came. By the time she's back at the original aisle her face has set. She walks past one more time, slower, and then exits the section. The whole loop takes about ninety seconds.
What to watch for
The pivot is the deliberate motion. It is not a casual turn. It's a clean military-style pivot, both feet in place, one second of rotation. Watch her bag. It swings once during the pivot and resettles. She does not look around to see if anyone noticed. The walk-back is at her original speed, not slower, which is the discipline. Most people slow down when retracing. She does not. She just walks the same path twice as if it was always the plan.
