About this scene
She approaches the parked car asking for directions to a place that's two minutes walk in any direction. She knows that. He knows that. She gets the answer and follows up with a second question, then a third. Each one keeps her at the driver window a little longer than the last. By the fourth question her body weight has shifted to her left hand on the door frame, and she's leaning down enough that the angle past the steering wheel is the only one she's actually interested in. She never quite admits why she stopped walking, and she never quite leaves either.
What to watch for
The pretend questions are the whole tell. Listen to the third one. She's already abandoned the pretense by then, and her tone goes from polite stranger to flirty neighbor inside a single sentence. The shift happens around the forty-second mark. Her free hand is what to watch in the second half. It moves twice, both times towards the open window, and each time she pulls it back like she's catching herself. The last time, she doesn't.
