About this scene
The car flash setup hits different when the woman closes the gap herself. She's at the driver window asking what should be a five-second question. Her left hand stays on the door frame for stability. Her right hand goes through the window, past the steering column, and lands exactly where she meant for it to land. She doesn't pull it back. The conversation continues like nothing happened, except the tone changes about halfway through and she's not really listening to his answers anymore.
What to watch for
The hand placement is the whole video. She doesn't fumble or hesitate. She reaches in like she's checking the time on his watch and then just leaves the hand there. About forty seconds in she starts using her thumb. About a minute in she switches her grip. The whole time her face stays in normal-conversation mode and she's still looking him in the eye. The disconnect between her face and her hand is the part that makes the clip work.
